The seminar “Self-confident in the German Employmen world” is an empowerment for students and university graduates with migration background who are about to take up a job in Germany that corresponds to their qualifications, or who has been working under Language challenges and barrier. The shortage of skilled workers in Germany is striking.

Therefore, the immigration of skilled workers is actively promoted nationwide. We would also like to contribute to facilitating the integration of young professionals, including prospective ones. This seminar is designed to give participants the confidence they need to feel confident when invited to an interview and to pass professional probationary periods.

We would like to encourage them to develop the necessary self-confidence for this, even if they believe that their German is not yet good enough and that they may have reservations about people with a migration background. Carola Wegerle has been a lecturer in communication for 31 years (www.sprechtechnik.com) and has – also because of her studies in Indology, Islamic Studies and Ethnology – a great interest in helping young people with a migration background, especially students and university graduates, to find a job in Germany and thus facilitate integration. Her needs, fears, longings and blockages are familiar to her. That’s why Carola Wegerle designed the seminar “Self-confidence in the world of work”. In 2022 she ran it as a state-funded project for well-trained women in 10 Bavarian cities.
