Who do we need?
– There are more than 3,500,000 open jobs in cybersecurity worldwide, in industry and the public sector. We need career changers looking to spice up their jobs, we are looking for women – because this field is traditionally seen as something for men and diversity improves security. We are looking for anybody who is seeking an exciting, secure, and well-paid job with a long-term future*.
What skills do you need?
Curiosity, courage, creativity and tenacity, and a passion for problem solving. Basic IT skills will help, but no specialized IT skills are needed. Most important is who you are and how you think. Securing our futures needs people from all backgrounds, which includes you.
How the CyberTalent program works. We will provide you with foundation training in cybersecurity. This is around 40 hours of virtual study spread over 12 weeks. It is the first step on the ladder of your new cybersecurity career. The core training will be provided by The SANS Institute, and you will be supported in workshops and tutor groups by our team of experts. The result will be a GIAC foundation certificate. GIAC certification is world renowned as a career booster in cybersecurity. This program is free of charge (funded by The Allianz Group) – all we expect from you is your commitment to complete the course.

This course is open to all who are interested in potentially working in a career in cybersecurity. Like the career itself, the course is open to anybody, irrespective of background, disability, race, religion, sexual orientation or age. All we require is commitment to complete the course.
This is a foundation course for cybersecurity. If you are already an experienced cybersecurity employee, or have studied it previously, this course is not for you.
